Job Title: Plumbing Foreman / Site Supervisor
About the Role
Due to continued growth and secured contracts, we are looking for an experienced Foreman / Site Supervisor to oversee plumbing operations on multi million pound construction sites. You will be responsible for coordinating site crews, ensuring work meets project specifications, maintaining safety compliance, and driving productivity to achieve project deadlines. This is a leadership role that requires both technical expertise and strong people management skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise site-based mechanical biased teams on new build and commercial projects.
* Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
* Coordinate daily activities with site managers, contractors, and other trades.
* Ensure all plumbing works meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
* Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.
* Conduct toolbox talks and enforce site safety protocols.
* Report progress, issues, and site updates to project managers.
* Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and on-the-job training to apprentices and plumbers.
* Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges promptly.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Plumbing Foreman / Supervisor on construction sites.
* In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, building codes, and site safety regulations.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple crews.
* Ability to communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and management.
* Competent in reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications.
* Plumbing trade qualification.
* SSSTS or SMSTS.
* Be able to travel between Bristol and London - overnight stays may be required.
