Responsible for assisting with patient care in the Emergency Services department.
Responsibilities
* Ensure supplies in the Emergency Services department are properly stocked.
* Administer CPR, check blood pressure, temperature, perform phlebotomy, and electrocardiograms as needed.
* Maintain the emergency rooms in a neat and orderly condition at all times.
* Adjust crutches for patients as necessary.
* Obtain food orders from the kitchen.
* Transport discharged patients via wheelchair to their vehicles.
* Deliver specimens as needed.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications and Specifications
Vocational/technical training and more than six months of job-related experience or equivalent are required. A Nursing Assistant Certificate is also required.
