ANZUK Education is currently working with a range of supportive and high-achieving primary schools across Kensington & Chelsea who are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a variety of classroom and SEN-based roles.
These opportunities are ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable experience within education while working across different school settings and age groups. Schools are looking for reliable, adaptable, and engaging support staff who can make a positive impact both academically and pastorally.
The positions available may include general Teaching Assistant work, Learning Support Assistant roles, SEN support, intervention support, behaviour mentoring, and 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
The Role:
* Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
* Working with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Supporting children with additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language needs
* Delivering targeted literacy and numeracy interventions
* Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, routines, and classroom engagement
* Assisting teachers in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Building experience across a range of primary school settings
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with children or young people in schools or related settings
* A positive, patient, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
* Backgrounds in psychology, tutoring, youth work, coaching, care, or mentoring are highly desirable
* Interested in developing long-term experience within education
