A growing civil engineering contractor based in Crewe is seeking an experiencedEstimatorto join their team. This role will focus on pricing a range of civils projects, with a strong emphasis onroads, highways, and Section 278 works.
Job Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
* Price civils works including highways and road construction projects
* Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
* Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations
* Use platforms such asConstructionlineandMarket Dojofor tender submissions
* Work closely with commercial and operational teams
Requirements:
* Previous experience as an Estimator within civil engineering
* Strong knowledge ofhighways, roads, and S278 works
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Experience using Constructionline and Market Dojo
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines
Salary & Benefits:
* £50,000 £60,000 per year (depending on experience)
