Cover Supervisor
Location: Burniston
Salary: £93 – £110 per day
Contract: Full-Time / Supply
Start Date: January 2026
GSL Education are recruiting a confident Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in the Burniston area, supporting continuity of learning.
Responsibilities
* Supervise classes using pre-set lesson plans
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively
* Support pupils with tasks and learning routines
* Maintain a safe and focused learning environment
* Follow school policies and procedures
Requirements
* Experience working with young people
* Confident classroom presence
* Strong communication skills
* Flexible and reliable approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
