About the role:
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and suitably qualified Environmental Health Officer (level 2) to join our Environmental Health – Commercial Team, to protect public health and make a positive impact on both Powys residents and visitors.
Registered/Chartered EHOs without the required level of competency/experience are welcome to apply and start on a lower grade (level 1), with the opportunity to progress to a higher pay grade.
About you:
If you are a Registered/Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner with a ‘can do’ attitude to work, are self-motivated, flexible, can take responsibility for a varied caseload, be an effective communicator, committed to team working within a small multi-disciplinary team, then don’t hesitate and apply today.
Possessing an extensive knowledge of the relevant legislation, codes of practice and guidance, you will ensure that the council undertakes and meets all relevant and associated obligations within Food Safety, Health & Safety, Communicable Disease Control and Special Procedures.
