Job Description:
At Places for People, we hire People, not numbers! So, if you like the sound of one of our jobs, please apply - you could be just who we're looking for! Experience and track record are important, but we're more interested in hiring someone who embodies our People Promises: does the right thing, is enthusiastic and motivated to grow, believes in community spirit, is respectful, and enjoys their work. As the UK's leading Social Enterprise, we are committed to creating inclusive and thriving communities for both our customers and employees.
So, what are you waiting for? Join a community that cares about you!
More about your role
As our Customer Service Co-Ordinator, you will support customers throughout their end-to-end journey using various communication channels including email, telephone, and webchat. You will investigate customer issues and escalate complaints to ensure the best outcomes.

More about you
To be successful, you should have excellent customer service skills with a strong customer-focused approach, and the ability to keep customers engaged. Experience in escalating customer complaints and managing challenging situations professionally is essential. Knowledge of the new build/construction industry and/or dealing with aftercare or warranty defects would be advantageous.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills to build relationships with customers from diverse backgrounds. This is a hybrid role with two days in the office (Preston on Monday, Leeds on Thursday) and three days working from home.
Essential for this role are administration experience and a driving license with your own car, as visits to new build development sites are part of the role. An essential car user allowance is included.
We are a large, diverse, and ambitious business offering challenging opportunities.
Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
* Competitive salary with annual reviews
* Pension with up to 7% matched contributions
* 35 days of holiday including bank holidays, with options to buy or sell leave
* Healthcare cashback plan saving up to £500 annually
* 5% bonus scheme
* Training and development opportunities
* Discounts and offers from shops, cinemas, and more
