Key Tasks and Responsibilities Provide high-quality in-class support across a range of subjects, particularly core subjects and PSHEOffer academic mentoring and 1:1 interventions for learners with additional needsDeliver specific lessons in PSHE/Life Skills or other activitiesDeliver short-term cover for teaching staff when requiredContribute to the pastoral care, personal development, and wellbeing of our studentsCollaborate with teaching staff, support teams, and external professionalsPlay a key role in building relationships with learners, supporting re-engagement with educationSupport the delivery of a trauma-informed and restorative approach to learning Beneficial Skills & Qualifications Holds a HLTA qualification, or willing to work towards oneA qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy equivalent to at least level 2 of the National Vocational Qualifications frameworkPrior experience working with children or in an educational setting.
