About the Role
As part of the Dr Grays Hospital (DGH) in‑patient team, you will provide prompt triage, assessment, and treatment across the Acute Medical Assessment Unit, Acute Care of the Elderly, general medical wards, emergency department, and surgical ward. Your goal is to maximise patient independence and facilitate timely discharge as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will also work closely with the therapy‑led Discharge 2 Assess (D2A) team, also based within DGH, to activate early supported discharge home.

* Community rehabilitation Occupational Therapy
* Primary Care Occupational Therapy
* Paediatric Occupational Therapy
* D2A
Mentoring & Support
If you are a newly qualified Occupational Therapist, we will provide mentoring and support to complete your Flying Start and Occupational Therapy Preceptorship programmes within your first 6–12 months.
