VANRATH are delighted to be assisting our major Public Sector client, a large organisation with the recruitment of a Corporate & Support Services Officer to join their team based in Ballymena. What's in it for you? £20.71 per hour Opportunity to work within a newly established Corporate & Support Services Directorate Exposure to information governance, compliance and policy development Varied role involving stakeholder engagement, reporting and project support About your next employer You'll be joining a forward-thinking local authority committed to delivering high-quality services to its communities. The Corporate & Support Services Directorate plays a critical role in supporting organisational governance, compliance, performance and business support functions. About you Degree in any discipline (or 4 years' equivalent relevant experience) Minimum of 2 years' experience providing advice and guidance on policies, procedures or legislation Experience engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders Experience preparing reports, correspondence and management information Strong organisational and project coordination skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Knowledge of governance, compliance or information management processes (desirable) Full driving licence (or access to suitable transport) What you'll do Support the delivery of corporate services, governance and compliance activities Develop and monitor project plans, ensuring deadlines and objectives are achieved Prepare reports, correspondence, management information and briefing materials Support policy development, implementation and continuous improvement initiatives Conduct research and analyse data to support decision-making and service delivery Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on corporate processes and procedures Assist with audit, performance, risk and governance activities Maintain accurate records management systems in line with retention and compliance requirements Engage with internal departments, external partners and stakeholders Support information governance processes, including policy compliance, reporting and information requests Ensure confidentiality and compliance with GDPR and relevant legislation at all times For further information on this opportunity, or any other position in Belfast or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link or contact Conor Birch in the strictest confidence.
