Position: Room Leader | Full Time | 40 Hours Per Week
Salary: £27,580 per annum
Are you an experienced Room Leader looking for a fresh opportunity? Look no further! At Acre Wood Nursery, we are on the hunt for a passionate individual to lead our dedicated team in delivering exceptional care and education to our children and families.
Our nursery operates from 7:00 AM to 6:15 PM, and we need someone flexible who can work varied shifts within these hours.
Your Role as a Room Leader
As a Room Leader, you will:
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
* Support the holistic development of children—physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
* Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and children's learning journals.
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility within the team.
* Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments for children.
* Maintain accurate records and accounts on the EyMan system.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
* Understand and uphold the statutory framework for the EYFS.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
* Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years - Essential
* Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position - Desirable
* Knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
* Understanding of the statutory framework for the EYFS - Essential
* Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential
