Job Description
3. Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports to support key business decisions.
4. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting processes.
5. Monitor budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations.
6. Manage and improve financial controls and accounting procedures.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
8. Support the preparation of tax filings and liaise with external auditors as required.
9. Assist in the development of cost-saving initiatives and performance improvements.
10. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making within the FMCG industry.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. A recognised professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience in Accounting & Finance.
12. Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial analysis skills.
13. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis within the FMCG sector or similar industries.
14. Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with excellent Excel skills.
15. An analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
16. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
17. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
