We are currently recruiting for a forklift truck driver for a well established company based in Leighton Buzzard. You will be responsible for the safe movement, storage, and handling of raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials to ensure smooth production and distribution processes. This includes the loading and unloading of heavy goods vehicles as well as the offloading of the production lines and various other yard-based activities
The main areas of responsibility will include:
* Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, transport, and stack finished products and raw materials.
* Supply production lines with required materials and remove finished goods as directed.
* Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring correct quantities and product integrity.
* Stack and store products in designated storage areas, following weight and height limits.
* Conduct daily forklift inspections and report defects, damage, or maintenance needs promptly.
* Maintain accurate records of materials moved, including delivery notes or inventory logs where required.
* Ensure all materials are handled in a way that prevents damage and maintains product quality.
* Follow all site safety procedures, traffic management plans, and manual handling guidelines.
* Keep work areas clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
* Support general yard or warehouse duties as required by production demands.
* Support stock takes on a monthly basis

Choice of
* Monday to Friday 05:00 - 13:00 / 12:00 - 20:00 on a weekly rotating basis
* Monday to Friday 14:00 - 22:00
Forklift Truck Driver - Pay Rate
* £13.47 per hour to £15.28 per hour
