This post is an opportunity for a Full Time Registered Dental Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team and support the speciality to ensure the provision of a high standard of patient care.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Dental nurse interested in developing the service to our patients. We would welcome any applications for this Band5 role from those with 2 years post qualification experience in Dental Nursing and hold a recognised specialised post registration qualifications such as Dental Sedation Nursing, Orthodontic Dental Nursing or Oral Health Education.
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and a compassionate nurse with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to help us to deliver outstanding treatment and care to our patients.

You will assist in our orthodontics, restorative and specialised clinics such as MDT clinic, as well as oral surgery clinics, day surgery theatre list, minor oral surgery operations and nurse led clinics.
Responsibilities
* Provide a high level of dental nursing care throughout the department. This will include patients with special needs, vulnerable children and adults, the elderly, mentally and physically disabled patients, patients suffering from terminal illness, infectious risk, medically compromised, anxious/phobic patients and people with challenging behaviour.
* Deliver a high standard of chairside assistance across the whole range of dental specialities within the department, supporting all grades of clinicians. Maintaining high standardsof infection control throughout.
* The post holder will be expected to be adaptable to perform these duties and be able to work flexibly across the Trust sites.
