Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for your next challenge in a purpose-driven business? We are currently recruiting on behalf of an innovative and environmentally focused company based in Walsall. They are seeking a capable and proactive Management Accountant to join their finance team on a temporary basis through to Christmas.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a growing organisation making a real impact in the renewable energy and sustainability space. While this role is initially temporary, there is potential for it to be reviewed for a permanent position in the new year.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accounts
*
Balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
*
Processing month-end journals and maintaining accurate financial records
*
Cash flow forecasting and weekly KPI reporting
*
Financial analysis and cost tracking across departments
*
Intercompany reconciliations and fixed asset register maintenance
*
Budgeting and forecasting support
*
Preparation of VAT returns and year-end audit support
*
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
What We’re Looking For:
*
Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience
*
Minimum 2–5 years in a similar role
*
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*
Excellent communication abilities – confident presenting financial data to non-finance teams
*
Proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Excel skills
*
Highly organised, detail-focused and able to work to tight deadlines
