Role Description
This is a full-time (4 DAY WEEK MONDAY - THURSDAY) on-site role for a Welder, located in Ely. The Welder will be responsible for performing various precision and very high quality welding tasks including TIG welding, MIG welding and all finishing operations. Daily tasks will involve preparing and joining a variety of materials including aluminium, stainless steel and carbon steel, ensuring high-quality welds, and adhering to safety standards. The Welder will also need to interpret technical drawings and specifications, maintain tools and equipment, and work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
* TIG Welding, MIG Welding and finishing skills
* Experience working with various materials
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Previous experience in a high-variety subcontract precision engineering and manufacturing environment is a plus
* Relevant welding certifications or qualifications
