Position: Clinical Teaching Assistant

Location: Kempston

Position: Full time, Long term

Salary: £460 - £500 a week

Start Date: September

Are you a recent Psychology or Criminology graduate in or around Kempston looking to take your first step into a career supporting children with additional needs? Are you passionate about mental health, behaviour, and the factors that shape a child’s development?

Join a dedicated SEN team in Kempston as a Clinical Teaching Assistant in a forward-thinking SEN school, where you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience working with pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, and associated communication and behavioural differences, within the education and training sector.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups under the guidance of specialist teachers and therapists
* Implementing individual education and behaviour support plans
* Assisting in the delivery of therapeutic interventions
* Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team including Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, and Educational Psychologists
