We're looking for an Environmental Advisor to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in the Norfolk/Suffolk region. Location: Norfolk/Lincoln, with travel to Essex, Cambridge, and Suffolk. We can also offer some working from home. Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility available. This role involves working on the Kier and Anglian Water Alliance projects across their operating areas, focusing on both clean and wastewater sites. These projects support Anglian Water's regulatory commitments to improve effluent quality during the AMP8 spending period. The position will primarily support projects in Norfolk and Lincoln within the IOS framework but will also involve projects in Essex, Cambridgeshire, and Suffolk. Responsibilities include: Providing guidance and support to project teams to ensure environmental legal compliance Supporting the delivery of the Kier sustainability framework Maintaining conformity with Kier and Client Environmental Management Systems Supporting the achievement of sustainability targets and policy adherence Your daily tasks will include: Acting as the first contact for environmental management issues Assisting or leading the development of project environmental management systems Supporting regulatory and client requirement compliance Developing and facilitating environmental training Conducting environmental audits and site inspections, and supporting third-party audits What we're looking for: Experience in environmental management and sustainability within construction projects Ability to assess environmental impacts and develop mitigation strategies Practical knowledge of implementing and improving EMS certified to BS EN ISO 14001 Understanding of statutory environmental requirements Experience liaising with stakeholders, including statutory bodies Full driving license We welcome transferrable skills, so even if you don't meet every criterion, please apply and let's have a conversation.
