Your new company Solihull Children's Services are seeking an experienced Youth Justice Service Team Manager to provide sickness cover within our Exploitation, Missing and Youth Justice Department. Your new role As a Youth Justice Service Team Manager, you will play a key leadership role, responsible for the operational management and delivery of all aspects of the Youth Justice Service, ensuring compliance with legislation, national standards, and local policies.You will lead a dedicated team working with children and young people across prevention, out-of-court disposals, statutory interventions, and custody. The team currently supports around 100 children at any one time.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a small, skilled team (2 Team Managers, 2 Team Leads, Restorative Justice Worker, 10 Youth Justice Officers, and 2 Support Workers). Ensure high-quality, child-first services that reduce youth offending and safeguard children. Oversee performance management, quality assurance, and practice development. Work collaboratively with partners to improve outcomes for children and young people.
