About Me
I am a young at heart 55-year-old, independent person living in my own bungalow in Bamber Bridge. I work part time in social care and enjoy making the most of life. My interests include going to the cinema, attending concerts, and relaxing with a good box set on Netflix or Primeparticularly foreign crime dramas and psychological thrillers.
I am looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Personal Assistant to join my established team and support me to continue living independently and enjoying an active lifestyle.
As my Personal Assistant, you will provide support with all aspects of daily living, including:
* Personal care
* Medication support
* Healthcare related tasks (Catheter and Stoma care)
* Domestic duties within the home
* Supporting me to attend appointments and social activities
* Assisting me in the community and during outings
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will play an important part in helping me maintain my independence and quality of life.
About you

Previous experience supporting someone with a spinal cord injury would be beneficial, but it is not essential. Full training will be provided, along with ongoing support from the wider team.
A bespoke training programme will be tailored to my individual requirements, making sure you have the knowledge and confidence to carry out the role to a high standard

Hours and Shifts
You will work an average of 30 hours per week (120 hours over a 4 week rota period). Shifts are worked across a 7 day rota and include sleeping nights.
Available shift patterns include:
* 8:00am 8:00am (24 hour shift including sleeping night)
* 8:00am 6:00pm
* 6:00pm 8:00am (sleeping night included)
The rate of pay is £14.15 per hour.
