Salary: Main or Upper Pay Scales (dependent on experience) plus SEN allowance (£2787, pro-rata). Hours: 0.4 FTE (to include Fridays and one other day / day equivalent). Contract Type: Part-time; permanent. Start Date: 01/01/2026. Application Close: 02/10/2025 Midday. Date of Interviews: TBC. Reporting to: Headteacher. Responsible for: LSAs, HLTAs and Inclusion Manager.
Responsibilities
* We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and motivated teacher to join our school as the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator. This is a role in shaping the strategic direction of our SEND provision to ensure all pupils receive the education, care, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Qualifications and requirements
* Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice is essential.
* Applicants must: already hold the NASENCO qualification; or already hold the SENCO National Professional Qualification; or be willing to complete the SENCO NPQ within three years of appointment.
