Job Description
This role seeks a Real Estate Title Manager to:
* Order, review, and analyze title commitments and ALTA surveys;
* Review submitted surface and mineral title reports for issues;
* Identify solutions to title issues and meet requirements on financing and insurance
* Work directly with landowners, internal parties, and third parties, including consultants, surveyors, outside counsel, and title companies to obtain necessary approvals, supporting materials, and signatures
* Work closely with the accounts payable group to ensure that all landowner payments are paid accurately and in a timely manner;
* Maintain relationships as the main point of contact with survey and title providers and request services on behalf of the company as needed.
* Submit documents to counties for recording purposes.
* Draft title clearing letters to send to landowners that explain title issues related to their land and solicit their support or signatures as appropriate;
* Support project teams through closings by answering due diligence questions and making selections;
* Maintain a software database of land rights;
* Maintain and update title tracking and title status spreadsheets;
* Support other projects as assigned.

The Successful Applicant
1. 4+ years of experience within renewable energy, specifically in legal and real estate related roles.
2. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Environmental Science or related field
3. Impressive track record and experience in development of renewable energy projects across solar, storage and wind.
4. Previous applicable experience working in a commercial negotiation environment
5. Strong interpersonal skills - able to work and communicate effectively with a cross-functional internal team, vendors, consultants, various project stakeholders, authorities having legal control, utilities, state agencies etc.
