Driver Hire Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft is looking for experienced Class 2 HIAB Drivers to support a variety of well‑established builders’ merchants, construction suppliers and timber distribution clients. This role offers ongoing temporary work with flexible shifts and opportunities for temp-to-perm placements.

HIAB Work
We have consistent demand for skilled HIAB drivers across the NR postcode area. Your work will typically involve operating remote or manual brick grabs and hook attachments to safely load and unload materials on construction sites and at residential addresses. You’ll need confidence manoeuvring the crane in restricted areas and a strong focus on safety at all times.
General Responsibilities
8. Carry out safe deliveries and collections
9. Operate HIAB equipment in line with training and site rules
10. Maintain accurate paperwork
11. Follow all site health and safety procedures
12. Keep clear and compliant records of driving and working hours
Requirements
13. Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
14. HIAB certificate
15. Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card
16. Ideally 12 months Class 2 experience
17. Maximum 6 penalty points (no CD, IN, DD, DR codes)
18. Strong understanding of Drivers’ Hours & Working Time Regulations
