We are working exclusively with a fast-growing NI Top 100 company based in the Newtownabbey area, who are seeking to appoint a Newly Qualified Accountant (audit background)as they enter the next stage of their growth journey.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role will play a key part in delivering high-quality financial reporting, ensuring statutory compliance, strengthening internal controls, leading the year-end audit process, and supporting the ongoing development of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities
* Produce statutory reports and support year-end accounts
* Complete balance sheet reconciliations and control account reviews
* Prepare and submit VAT and other HMRC/compliance returns
* Manage cashflow and forecasting
* Maintain the fixed asset register, including depreciation
* Provide financial analysis and reporting for senior management
* Partner with operational teams to support decision-making
* Lead external audits and liaise with auditors
* Support continuous improvement of finance processes and controls
* Assist with ad hoc finance tasks as required
Who We’re Looking For
* Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Strong technical accounting knowledge
* High level of competency with accounting software and Excel
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* A diligent, proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment
* Strong communication skills and confidence working with non-financial stakeholders
