The Organisation
In this Housing Management Officer role in Coventry, you will join a charity helping young people aged 16-25 gain access to temporary accommodation due to homelessness. The role involves helping young people manage their finances to maintain their tenancy long-term.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor lease and service level agreements with partner agencies daily.
* Ensure occupancy, rent collection, and arrears targets are met through property lettings and refurbishments.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety standards in properties.
* Oversee reactive repairs and planned maintenance, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
* Manage issues related to anti-social behaviour within services.
* Communicate tenant responsibilities and tenancy compliance clearly.
* Interpret financial information related to rents, charges, and contracts effectively.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in Housing Management or similar duties.
* Ability to commute within the Coventry area.
* Flexibility to work part-time hours during the week.
* Enhanced DBS clearance for child and adult work issued within the last 12 months or on the update service.
