Purpose of the Role:
As the Photographer & Retoucher you will cover photography pipeline, from following the strict SOP's on set to delivering polished, Final imagery for ecommerce. You'll shoot across model, at-lay, creative still life and ad-hoc requirements such as in-store. You will also be fully responsible for high-end retouching, with a focus on colour accuracy and consistency.
You'll contribute to studio workflow, strive for consistency, and support the ongoing evolution of our visual output. This is ideal for someone who can work independently, confidently, and collaboratively in a fast-paced in-house studio, whilst having access to professional studio facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute high-quality photography across model, at-lay, and creative still life
* Own lighting setup accuracy, composition, ICC proles and visual direction on set
* Collaborate with Art Director, Stylist, and Production to bring briefs to life
* Ensure efficient file organisation and delivery in accordance with internal workflow
* Deliver professional-level retouching, including:
* Skin and product cleanup
* Colour correction and precise colour matching
* Compositing and detailed post-processing
* Ensure all assets meet creative and commercial quality standards
* Maintain consistency across high volumes of content for ecommerce and marketing use
* Support with studio upkeep and equipment management
* Provide guidance to Studio Assistant or freelance contributors when required
* Collaborate with the Senior Producer to optimise shoot and post-production workows and SOP's
* Contribute to upholding brand quality standards across all visual content
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Technical:
* 5+ years of professional experience in commercial photography and retouching
* Strong portfolio demonstrating:
* On-model ecommerce photography
* Flat-lay and still life work
* High-end retouching with consistent colour accuracy
* Advanced proficiency in Capture One, Adobe Photoshop, and Lightroom
* Exceptional visual judgment, technical control, and attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
About You:
* Able to take full ownership of projects with minimal supervision
* Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced creative environment
* Consistently embodies Moss's core values and behavioural competencies in daily responsibilities and interactions.
Additional information:
* Our Hybrid Work Policy requires a minimum of 4 days in the office and 1 working from home.
* This is 6-Month Fixed Term Contract..
