Construction Business Development Manager
An electrical contractor that specializes in full installations and temporary electrical site services. Well established for over 40 years, they have depots nationwide and now require a Construction Business Development Manager to expand their services within Construction Contractors. The role is based in Liverpool/North Wales, covering the North West of England.
The company is already successful, working with prominent construction contractors such as Mace, Skanska, Kier, etc.
Responsibilities
* Develop relationships with senior buyers, commercial managers, quantity surveyors, and contracts managers within medium to large construction contractors.
* Organize and follow up on leads to generate new business.
* Manage existing accounts with Tier 1 contractors.
* Understand how building sites operate and have knowledge of selling into them, specifically selling temporary site services or hire solutions into construction contractors.
* Sell temporary site electrics to Tier 1 contractors and foster long-lasting business relationships.
Qualifications
* Living within a commutable distance of Liverpool.
* Full UK driving license.
* Proven sales experience within construction or electrics.
* Experience selling into Tier 1 contractors.
* Background in sales, especially in temporary site services or hire solutions into Tier 1 construction.
Compensation
Basic salary of £40,000 - £50,000, plus a 10% bonus and car allowance.
