Role Details:
Weekly Working Hours & OT
Mon to Thursday 0700 – 1700. 40 min break.
Salary: £31.92 p/h
O/T at x1.4 Fridays and Sat < Midday, and x1.8 thereafter.
*Overtime will not come into effect until your first full working week*
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and supervise site welding operations, ensuring safe and effective task execution.
2. Deliver toolbox talks and promote safety culture, including hazard awareness and error prevention.
3. Plan and allocate workloads, monitor performance, and maintain productivity across the welding team.
4. Ensure compliance with quality standards, carry out inspections, and manage weld documentation and traceability.
5. Support investigations into weld repairs and share lessons learned through internal processes.
6. Liaise with engineers and subcontractors to coordinate activities such as NDT, heat treatment, and materials supply.
