HGV Class 1 Driver | Location: Bromborough Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a professional and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client's growing operation based in Bromborough. This role involves operating modern Artic Walking Floor trailers, providing an essential service within the waste and recycling sector. The Role Operating Class 1 HGV vehicles with Walking Floor trailers Ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of materials Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects Maintaining accurate digital records and tachograph compliance Following planned routes and delivery schedules Representing the business professionally at customer sites Adhering to all company, driver hours and health & safety regulations What We're Looking For Valid UK HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence Driver CPC qualification Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience Previous Walking Floor / Moving Floor trailer experience is highly desirable Professional attitude with excellent communication skills Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently Pay & Overtime £15.45 per hour for the first 40 hours Overtime paid at 1.25x after 40 hours Saturday shifts paid at 1.5x rate Bank Holidays paid at double time Benefits Company pension scheme Death in Service benefit (4x annual salary after 6 months service) Full PPE and uniform provided Modern, well-maintained fleet Ongoing training and development opportunities Long-term career prospects with a growing business This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Class 1 driver who takes pride in safety, professionalism and delivering a high standard of service.
