Job Description

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join our team at our expanding Harworth Site. As a Transport Administrator, you will be responsible for the daily creation of customer consignments, ensuring accuracy of information at all times. You will also be responsible for reconciling consignment costs against daily schedules from customers to ensure accurate charging and invoicing at week and period end.

Working hours: Any 5 from 7 nights, 22:00 - 06:00

Salary: £25,974 + £1ph Night shift Premium


Key Duties of a Transport Admin include:

1. Efficiently and accurately dispatching drivers with all relevant paperwork.
2. Completing customer and Stobart KPIs where required.
3. Inputting trailer details into the internal tracking system.
4. Monitoring the service board to ensure the correct week number is on the correct trailer for depot trailers.
5. Liaising with drivers on the gate communication system to make them aware of site procedures before entering the site, when required.
6. Completing all daily tasks for compliance purposes.
7. Ensuring manning levels are updated and correct.
8. Performing internal reporting duties.
9. Downloading vehicle & driver digital tachographs as required.
10. Managing transport systems effectively.
11. Strong organisational skills and time management techniques to balance priorities effectively are essential.
12. Previous experience within an administrative role.
13. Flexibility, articulateness, and the ability to cope under pressure due to the changing environment.
14. Excellent communication skills.
15. Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages.
16. A high level of attention to detail.
