Ocean Infinity isSD-WAN Engineer with deep expertise in SD-WAN technology to design, implement, and optimize wide area network solutions across our global enterprise. Reporting to the Infrastructure Lead, this role requires a strong understanding of SD-WAN architectures, network security, and cloud based networking. The ideal candidate will also have hands on experience supporting data intensive operations in low bandwidth, high latency environments, such as those found in remote or satellite connected locations. seeking a A strong background in satellite communications (GEO/LEO) is highly desirable, as this role will focus on designing resilient, high performance networks for geographically distributed, remote, and maritime operations. This role will play a key part in evolving Ocean Infinity’s global connectivity platform from manual network management toward intelligent orchestration across hybrid satellite and terrestrial networks.Design and implement automated network policy frameworks that dynamically adjust traffic prioritization based on operational requirements. Design and implement intelligent bandwidth orchestration strategies that dynamically allocate network capacity across GEO and LEO links based on application priority, cost, and operational requirements.Integrate network policy engines with operational and project management systems to enable automated network configuration based on mission or project requirements. Work with SD-WAN vendors, satellite providers, and telecommunications partners to optimize network performance and SLAs;**Who you are:** 7+ years of experience in WAN architecture utilizing SD-WAN solutions;Experience automating network configuration and policy using tools such as Python, Ansible, Terraform, or API-driven SD-WAN controllers;Experience leveraging network telemetry, analytics platforms, or monitoring systems to drive automated traffic engineering decisions;Experience working with data intensive applications over constrained networks, including latency mitigation strategies and bandwidth optimization;Proficiency with scripting or automation languages such as Python to automate network configuration, telemetry analysis, and traffic policy deployment.Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices;Strong experience designing networks for low-bandwidth and high-latency environments, including WAN acceleration, traffic shaping, and application aware routing;Ability to design redundant and resilient network topologies across multiple connection types (MPLS, broadband, LTE/5G, satellite);Ability to work as a trusted advisor with senior stakeholders; Driven, proactive and able to work autonomously with little supervision towards the company's purpose; Ability to work well in a team and independently;
