Service Desk Expert - Radiology Informatics
As a Service Desk Expert, your main goal is to deliver excellent customer support, identify improvements for Operational KPIs, and enhance competencies in Radiology Informatics product lines.
Responsibilities
* You will be part of our Enterprise Imaging (EI) Service Desk team in the UK with responsibility for delivering service to our Radiology Informatics products – Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
* You will join a virtual cross geography community of experienced engineers delivering support to our customer across the UK and Ireland.
* You will be the technical specialist providing technical support across our deployed systems and the SME on high priority/complex issues.
* You will be the local technical champion for Customer crisis management.
* You will assess and review install base records within assigned geography (including customer contacts).

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is a field role.
This role is not open to a relocation.
Eligibility highlights
YOU’RE RIGHT FOR THE ROLE IF:
* You hold a Bachelor\'s Degree/ Vocational Education in Computer Sciences, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Technical Support, Customer Service Management or equivalent.
* No prior experience required with Bachelor\'s OR minimum 4 years of experience with Vocational Education in Technical Support, Customer Support, Electronics, Information Technology or equivalent.
* You have experience in Incident management, Customer Care Support, Service Engineering or Delivery of software solutions, preferably in Healthcare IT industry.
* You have troubleshooting skills on different levels (application, database, OS, hardware, networking, etc.).
* You have knowledge and experience with Windows OS including servers and storage solutions.
* You have knowledge and experience of networking, monitoring, and automation tools (Oracle Database and SQL).
* You have knowledge and experience of virtualization solutions (e.g., HyperV).
* You are familiar with IT Security Policies and Standards as well as IT system architectures.
* You have knowledge on DICOM, Health Level Seven (HL7) and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) as well as Radiology Workflow (preferred).
* You have experience with Scripting languages (Perl, Powershell, Python) (preferred)
* You are a team player with the ability to follow standardized processes.
* You possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* You have excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate complex information in a well-structured manner. You are fluent in English.
* You can travel up to 30% of your time across the UKI (United Kingdom and Ireland). Travel to Italy will be required for training purposes.
Note: Due to the role working in the healthcare environment, a standard DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) criminal record check will be required for this role.
