Year 3 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Community School – Preston
We are looking to appoint an exceptional Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and supportive community school near Preston.
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:15pm, starting the week of 23rd February 2026, and covering the full academic year.
About the Role
This is a general classroom support role, providing essential support to the Year 3 teacher and pupils. The successful candidate will:
* Assist with the delivery of engaging learning activities
* Support pupils both individually and in small groups
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
* Work closely with the class teacher and wider staff team to support pupil progress
* Be a proactive and reliable member of a nurturing school environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
