Overview
Join to apply for the Cluster Residential Child Care Worker role at Pebbles Care.
If you enjoy working with children and have the resilience to deal with challenging behaviours while offering a caring and supportive therapeutic approach, we would love to hear from you. Pebbles Care has an opportunity to collaborate with our established team and become an integral part of our children’s lives. Your role may vary across a small cluster of homes with various shift patterns to support holiday or training cover. Our cluster roles provide varied work and the opportunity to work across diverse teams.
Your responsibilities include daily home life, such as driving our children to and from school, appointments, and visits (a full UK manual driving license is essential). You will also teach valuable life skills, including meal preparation and household chores, while creating lasting memories through engaging activities, outings, and holidays.
Your Role as a Cluster Residential Child Care Worker
You will be employed part-time as a dedicated team member, averaging 45 hours weekly. Working collaboratively with your team on shift across multiple locations within a short journey of each other, you will provide support tailored to the young person’s needs, either one-to-one or two-to-one.
Your training begins on day one with a comprehensive induction and shadow shifts, learning about the Pebbles Way and our therapeutic care model, supported by your manager and our in-house Learning and Development team.
