As they continue to grow and strengthen our provision, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Engineering to join their Bersham Road campus.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated individual to deliver high‑quality teaching across Engineering programmes at Levels 2 and 3. You will bring energy to the classroom, support learners from a variety of backgrounds, and contribute to the ongoing development of our curriculum.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering engaging teaching sessions and preparing relevant learning materials
Marking and assessing student work
Supporting learners with guidance, feedback and pastoral care
Working with awarding bodies and assisting with exam processes
Collaborating with colleagues across curriculum areas
Maintaining accurate documentation such as registers, schemes of work and reports
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
A minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline
A teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards one
Strong mathematical knowledge and the ability to apply it within Engineering contexts
Up‑to‑date industry knowledge and a commitment to ongoing professional development
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Confidence in using a range of teaching methods and creating high‑quality learning resources
Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Good IT skills, ideally including Microsoft Office and Google applications
Competence in CAD/CAM
Welsh language skills (desirable)
