As a Senior Paraplanner, you will be responsible for providing in‑depth technical support and high‑quality financial planning analysis to help deliver exceptional client outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting detailed research across investments, pensions, protection, tax, and estate planning
Preparing comprehensive and tailored financial plans and suitability reports
Building and reviewing cashflow models to illustrate complex scenarios
Maintaining high standards of compliance and accurate client records
Supporting advisers in client meetings where required, acting as a technical expert
Assisting with implementation of advice, from applications to portfolio changes
Contributing to continual process improvement and supporting wider team developmentThis is a varied and intellectually stimulating role, perfect for someone who enjoys deep technical work and thrives in a collaborative environment.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical capability, curiosity, and professionalism. You will have:
Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum)
Progression toward (or attainment of) Chartered or advanced qualifications - ideally Level 6+
At least three years' paraplanning or technical financial planning experience
Strong understanding of investments, pensions, protection, tax & estate planning
Experience using tools such as Voyant and Intelligent Office (or similar)
Excellent written communication skills and a high attention to detail
The ability to analyse complex information and present it clearly
