EYFS Teacher – Chester-le-Street

Are you a nurturing, enthusiastic and imaginative EYFS teacher who loves helping young children thrive? Our lovely primary schools in the Chester-le-Street area are looking for a dedicated Early Years practitioner to inspire little learners as they begin their educational journey.
If you enjoy creating engaging early-years environments, shaping meaningful learning experiences and supporting children as they grow in confidence, this could be the perfect role for you.
Your Role Will Include:
* Planning and delivering creative, play-based learning that encourages curiosity and exploration
* Teaching in line with the EYFS framework to support children's holistic development
* Creating a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels safe and valued
* Observing and assessing children to track progress and identify next steps
* Supporting pupils with a range of abilities, including those with SEND
* Working closely with teaching assistants, families, and the wider school team
* Bringing positivity, patience and a genuine love for early years education
What We’re Looking For:
You’ll be a great fit if you:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have recent experience teaching within EYFS
* Have strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and early years best practice
* Hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate or are happy to refresh it
* Are creative, caring and confident in early years routines and expectations
* Communicate clearly and warmly with children, staff and parents
* Hold (or can obtain) an enhanced DBS
* Are available to start as soon as possible
