We are currently recruiting for a Casual Conference & Banqueting Assistant at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
About Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa
Located in Nantwich, Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa is one of the most renowned country‑house hotels in Cheshire, blending old‑world charm with modern amenities. The award‑winning property boasts 4 AA Red Star status and several notable accolades for its dining.
Responsibilities
* Support conference and banqueting operations to Hand Picked Hotels standards, ensuring high standards of presentation are always maintained.
* Set‑up and take‑down of equipment (tables, chairs, props, decorations) ensuring timely delivery and ability to carry and move heavy items.
* Maintain knowledge of food menu items and availability across all areas, including bar and restaurant.
* Work towards departmental goals, contribute ideas, and be open to new ways of working. Take personal ownership within role parameters.
* Communicate and delegate in line with business levels and daily functions and events.
* Be inspired, have fun, and enjoy being part of the Hand Picked Team.
About You
* Passionate about delivering a high level of service and attention to detail.
* Enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities, adopting a flexible approach to assist in different areas of the hotel as business and guest needs dictate.
* High level of emotional intelligence, enabling anticipation of guest needs to ensure a Hand Picked experience.
* Demonstrate ability to deliver Hand Picked Hotels guest‑experience standards, going above and beyond to provide high‑quality, personalised, magical experiences that guests remember, recommend, and return to time and time again.
