The Role – Year 4 TeacherWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join our team from April 2026. In this role, you will take full responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Year 4 is an important year for developing core skills, particularly in preparation for the Multiplication Tables Check, so a strong focus on maths fluency is essential. You will also plan and deliver targeted intervention groups to support pupils in closing gaps in learning across reading, writing, and maths.
The successful candidate will be confident in using assessment data to inform planning, differentiating effectively to meet a range of abilities, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Strong behaviour management and a proactive approach to supporting pupil progress are key.
