My client are a leading earthworks contractor. They are looking to onboard a foreman to help deliver an ongoing infrastructure and civils scheme being delivered. The ideal candidate will have a solid background and knowledge of bulk earthworks and civils.
Foreman responsibilities:
Responsible for day-to-day running of general earthworks activity.
Work with the Works Manager and Engineering team to set the plans for the work and then execute them.
Lead and motivate a team of skilled workers.
Maintain high standards of safety and quality.
Managing health and safety.
Reading and working to 3 week look ahead programme.
Liaising with the client, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
Foreman requirements:
Right to work in the UK.
NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
CSCS card (Gold).
SMSTS.
First aid.
Experience with bulk earthworks/ earthworks.
Full UK driving licence.
IT literate.
