Job Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Tumbling Coaches to join our coaching team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tumbling, gymnastics, cheerleading, or acrobatics, and a passion for helping athletes improve their skills in a safe, supportive, and positive environment.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality tumbling classes to gymnast of various ages and abilities — from beginners learning basic rolls and handstands to advanced athletes working on aerials, back handsprings, and tumbling passes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging tumbling sessions for recreational or competitive gymnast
* Teach and demonstrate correct tumbling technique and progressions
* Provide safe and effective spotting for gymnast
* Monitor individual gymnast development and adjust training accordingly
* Create a fun, inclusive, and motivating environment in every session
* Maintain high safety standards and ensure correct use of equipment
* Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches
* Support events, camps, showcases, or competitions as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Experience coaching tumbling, gymnastics, acrobatics, or cheerleading
* Coaching qualification in gymnastics, cheerleading, or a related discipline (preferred)
* Strong knowledge of tumbling techniques and progressions
* Ability to spot tumbling skills safely and confidently
* Positive, energetic, and professional coaching style
* Current First Aid and Safeguarding certificates (or willingness to obtain)
* Enhanced DBS check or equivalent (required)
Desirable (but not essential):
* British Gymnastics or UKCA (United Kingdom Cheerleading Association), Dance or Circus qualification
* Experience working with both recreational and competitive athletes
* Knowledge of conditioning and injury prevention specific to tumbling

Pay: £12.75-£30.00 per hour
