Role Summary
The Design Coordinator – Facades will be responsible for coordinating the design process for a range of architectural external finishes, including but not limited to GRC, glass reinforced concrete, brickslips, terracotta, renders, aluminium, and high‑pressure laminate (HPL) cladding.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate the design process between various internal and external stakeholders.
* Liaise with external design suppliers to ensure designs meet requirements.
* Manage the supply chain to keep projects on schedule.
* Work with internal teams regarding fabrication schedules.
* Prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met.
* Participate in projects ranging from £500k to £25m.
Qualifications & Experience
* Must have design experience within the cladding/facade/building envelope/glazing industries.
* Designer, Design Manager, or Design Coordinator experience within these industries is considered.
* Strong understanding of rainscreen and curtain walling is highly advantageous.
* Outgoing, collaborative character who will be an integral part of the team.
* High levels of organisation and excellent time‑management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
* Proactive, motivated individual with strong commercial awareness.
