Come and join our friendly, supportive neurophysiology team in sunny Dorset. We are looking for a motivated Band 7 Clinical Physiologist to join a team with passion, enthusiasm and commitment for Clinical Neurophysiology. There are a range of opportunities for continuing professional and personal development. The department is currently working through transformation as part of the UHD reconfiguration to cover the Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth Hospital sites across University Hospitals Dorset. The successful candidate would be expected to work across all areas of the department, and across both hospital sites. Experience in all EEG modalities, evoked potential modalities and all standard nerve conduction techniques are essential. Training will be given in areas unfamiliar to the candidate. Regular study and training sessions are encouraged for all staff, with the opportunity to attend courses and meetings at both regional and national level. Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria BSc Clinical Physiology (neurophysiology) or equivalent Post Graduate Certificate in Neurophysiology or equivalent formal specialist training Desirable criteria MSC level study in relevant area ANS I or II RCCP registration CSci Registration Experience Essential criteria Practical experience and familiarity with the range of basic and advanced neurophysiological investigations i.e. EEG. Including ambulatory, Evoked Potentials, including ERG; Nerve Conductions; Assisting EMG Significant experience of working at a senior level following and running clinics autonomously in a clinical neurophysiology servic Desirable criteria Teaching experience Knowledge Essential criteria In- depth understanding of National guidance for Neurophysiology and impact on service provision Evidence of up to date CPD activities relating to clinical neurophysiology and healthcare science and use of this to inform practice Understanding of IQIPS, and the relevance to Clinical Neurophysiology services
