We have been assigned by one of the UKs most prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant Cardiologist on either a Substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Cardiology department.

Our client is one of the largest and busiest Trusts in Yorkshire, providing a comprehensive range of acute hospital and specialist healthcare services for approximately 800,000 people. The Trust has recently secured a £40 million investment to enhance facilities, including the creation of a Combined Emergency Assessment Unit for streamlined patient care.
Department and Facilities
The successful candidate will join a department of 5 consultants and 2 Associate Specialists. The department features a 5-bay CCU with continuous 12-lead ECG monitoring and facilities for temporary pacing, 15 Cardiology step-down beds, a Catheter Lab, and a Cardiac Physiology Department.
Responsibilities
* Teaching and training of junior staff
* Assisting with governance and audit duties
* Fulfilling clinical duties as agreed with the clinical director
