Responsibilities: As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our clients finance department. Your key responsibilities will include: * Generating and sending accurate invoices and credit notes to customers promptly * Assisting Credit Control in monitoring customer accounts for non-payments and irregularities * Following up with customers on unallocated payments via phone, email, or mail * Posting customer payments and reconciling the AR ledger * Maintaining detailed records of accounts receivable transactions * Resolving billing issues and disputes professionally * Processing supplier invoices, matching purchase orders, and preparing payments * Monitoring and managing accounts payable ageing reports Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): * Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role * Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and AR processes * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, e...
