Role Overview

Howard James Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing and well-established business for a Customer Service & Sales Support Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident, organised and proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment supporting both customers and internal teams.

The successful candidate will act as the key link between customers, sales and operations, managing orders, providing updates and ensuring a smooth customer journey. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves regular interaction with trade customers via phone, WhatsApp and email.

Key Responsibilities

*

Manage day-to-day communication with trade customers via phone, WhatsApp and email

*

Accurately process and manage customer orders

*

Provide customers with updates regarding delivery schedules, charges and any potential delays

*

Handle customer queries, issues and complaints professionally and efficiently

*

Monitor stock availability and communicate any changes to customers

*

Liaise with the delivery team to ensure smooth and timely logistics

*

Provide administrative and coordination support to the wider sales and operations teams

What We’re Looking For

*

Previous experience within sales support, operations or customer service (B2B experience advantageous)

*

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

*

Confidence using WhatsApp, email and other digital communication platforms

*

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

*

Comfortable using computers and basic office software such as Excel and Word

*

Positive, self-motivated and able to take ownership of tasks

*

A strong team player who can thrive in a busy working environment
