Pay Rate: £155 to £220 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role:
As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality religious education and inspiring students to develop a love for learning about different religions and cultures. You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals to create engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a school that values educational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging religious education lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring all students are motivated and challenged.
* Teach religious education lessons to students aged 11-16.
* Organise and supervise extracurricular activities and events related to religious education, fostering a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm for the subject.
* Monitor and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
* Promote respect and understanding of different religions and cultures, ensuring students appreciate the importance of diversity.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Qualified Teaching Status (QTS), or equivalent certification.
* Be able to provide a ten-year career history with relevant reference details covering the last two years, including your most recent place of academic employment.
* Experience in teaching religious education is essential.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
* The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best in religious education.
* Commitment to promoting a love for learning and a curiosity about different religions and cultures.
* Relevant qualifications or training in religious education (desirable but not essential).
