Role Description
We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to lead our Occupational Therapy team and work with patients on our private and NHS Eating Disorders unit.
Reporting to the Specialist Services Lead, the successful candidate will work within one of our CAMHS wards, providing occupational therapy where clinically indicated.
The role involves managing patients using evidence-based and patient-centric principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions. The aim is to equip patients with confidence, functional skills, and coping strategies for independent living. The OT will also maintain and develop relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multidisciplinary team, ensuring clinical practice aligns with Priory policies and statutory regulations.
Minimum Requirements
* Accredited Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy
* HCPC registration
* Experience working within a multidisciplinary team setting
* Knowledge of and understanding of Care Programme Approach (CPA)
* Ability to conduct Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments
* High standard of report writing
