The Client:
A leading investment manager is looking commercial lawyer to join their legal team. Working autonomously, you will be responsible for a range of legal matters across the business.
They will consider a senior lawyer looking to return to work following a long break or on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including IT contracts, outsourcing, partnership agreements, supplier agreements. vendor contracts, investment management agreements (IMA), licensing agreements, and customer terms and conditions.
Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic advice to mitigate these risks, ensuring the company's operations align with legal requirements.
Assisting the AI team internally with a range of legal queries
Working in multidisciplinary teams across various departments, including product development, data protection, marketing, and human resources, ensuring that all business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a commercial/tech contracts lawyer, preferably with experience in a law firm, or financial services firm.
Excellent contract negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
