SEN Class Teacher - Wellingborough

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a number of SEN (Special Educational Needs) schools in Wellingborough, who are seeking passionate and committed SEN Class Teachers to join their teams.
These schools cater for pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, moderate to severe learning difficulties (MLD/SLD), and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced SEN teachers and confident mainstream teachers looking to transition into a specialist setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering personalised lessons tailored to pupil's individual needs
Creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment
Managing support staff (e.g., TAs) effectively to enhance learning outcomes
Using a range of strategies to support communication, behaviour, and engagement
Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to EHCP reviews and reportsWhat We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching pupils with SEN (in mainstream or specialist settings)
A nurturing and resilient approach to teaching
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
